Carleton House – Online Music Lessons
Your child’s instrumental music lessons will be delivered online, from week beginning January 11th. Many of the children will have participated in online lessons during the previous lockdown, which were delivered with great success.
Priority booking is being given to children whose parents are key workers, to enable booking of lesson slots that are outside the school day. Lessons will not be delivered online to children while they are in school.
Please read the information below regarding lessons, and book your first lesson via the booking link. This will then be the time that your lesson takes place each week, during the current lockdown. There is also important information regarding your child’s instrument – please take a look at this below.
About Your Lessons
These lessons are curriculum time lessons that are delivered by Pulse on Tuesdays & Wednesdays in school. They include Trumpet, Tenor Horn, Violin, Clarinet, Flute, Voice & Drums. They do not include Piano or Guitar lessons delivered in school.
My Child's Instrument Is In School
Your son / daughter will be given their instrument to take home / be collected from school on Monday 11th January at the end of the school day.
My Child Doesn't Have An Instrument
Your son / daughter will be loaned a school instrument to take home / be collected on Monday 11th January. The instrument will have been unused since December and will be sanitised and cleaned before leaving school.
What About Safeguarding?
All of our teachers are fully enhanced DBS checked and have received guidance and training for online delivery. Once you have booked your first lesson, you will receive an online form regarding safety, and our expectations of students & parents, that must be completed before lessons commence.
