Weeks 1 & 2

Students only will be permitted into the building during the first two weeks back at Pulse.

We will also be making a change to parent attendance moving forward from week 3, with parents welcome in our reception areas during lessons on a bi-weekly basis. We are making this change to ease congestion in the building and also ease pressure on teachers. Parents will therefore be able to speak with teachers every two weeks rather than weekly as before COVID.

Students will be allocated ‘week A / week B’ in due course and the system will be implemented from week 3 of the new term.

You Don’t Need To Do Anything

Your lesson appointment day & time will resume to the normal slot from before lockdown. Please check this when you receive your appointment reminder, which will arrive one week before your first lesson back. Please get in touch if there are any issues.

New Students

We look forward to welcoming you to Pulse. Parents of new students will be permitted into our premises from week one, to ensure that all new children settle into their lessons at Pulse with their parents in attendance. The well being of our students is paramount.

Online Lessons

Our hope is to return to normality and operate as we did prior to COVID. We realise that some students / parents may need to isolate so will still offer flexibility for lessons to be delivered online. Our assumption from week one is that ALL students will return – please complete the form on this webpage if you require online lessons for week beginning April 12th.

Teacher Testing, Social Distancing & Cleaning

All teachers will provide a lateral flow test test result to Pulse on a weekly basis and we will be continuing with with our procedures as previously. This will include distancing of instruments, social distancing in communal spaces, cleaning of instruments between lessons and increased daily cleaning of the entire facility. Our teachers will continue to wear shields for the remainder of the school year.
